Ancorius Group has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire Unsworth & Associates (U&A), a regulated corporate services provider with operations in Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
U&A is licensed to provide corporate and fiduciary services in both markets, operating under a specialised PSF (Professionnel du Secteur Financier Spécialisé) licence in Luxembourg and a trust office licence in the Netherlands. After completion of the transaction, these licences will enable Ancorius to further broaden the range of regulated services it offers to institutional and international clients.
“The transaction marks an important step in expanding both our capabilities and our geographic reach,” said Johan van den Berg, Group CEO of Ancorius. “While Luxembourg remains at the core of our strategy, this acquisition allows us to complement our local expertise with a presence in another key European market.”
Clients of U&A will continue to work with their existing teams, ensuring continuity of service and relationships. Over time, they will benefit from access to Ancorius’ broader platform, including additional expertise, enhanced capabilities, and cross-border support.
The transaction is part of a broader growth strategy, under which Ancorius continues to evaluate selective acquisition opportunities that strengthen its capabilities, talent base, and international presence, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and client trust.
“We are delighted to see Ancorius expand internationally and add regulated corporate services for institutional clients to its product proposition. This represents an important milestone for the group and we look forward to welcoming the U&A teams within the franchise,” said Steven Gringoire, Managing Director at AnaCap.
« The prospect of welcoming Ancorius Group as our new shareholder and strategic partner will enable us to further increase efficiency. By joining a larger organisation and expanding our capabilities across the Netherlands and Luxembourg, we will strengthen our ability to deliver the agile, client-first services that have defined us for over 40 years,” said Brad Unsworth, principal and director at U&A.
Headquartered in Luxembourg, Ancorius combines more than 30 years of expertise with an international outlook and today serves a broad range of clients, including investment funds, corporates, entrepreneurs and private wealth clients. Following the rebrand of Fiduciaire Jean-Marc Faber to Ancorius in 2025 and the partnership with AnaCap, the company is rolling out its next phase of development, focused on growth, digitalisation and service expansion.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals in Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
