Ancorius, a leading independent provider of fund, corporate, and accounting services, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointments of Guy Pauwels as Group Chief Financial Officer and Franck Martin as Head of Corporate Development.
“These strategic hires mark an important step in Ancorius’ ongoing growth journey, following its rebranding from Fiduciaire Jean-Marc Faber and the backing of private equity firm AnaCap earlier this year,” said Johan van den Berg, Group CEO of Ancorius. “Guy’s and Franck’s expertise and vision will be instrumental as we continue to expand our capabilities and pursue selective acquisitions across our core and new business lines”.
Guy Pauwels, Group CFO
Guy Pauwels joined Ancorius to establish a robust, forward-looking Finance function, bringing his strong M&A and financial leadership experience to the Group’s ambitious expansion plans.
Guy brings over 20 years of experience as a finance professional. Before joining Ancorius, he served as Group CFO and Conducting Officer at a Luxembourg-based AIFM, having previously held senior finance roles at one of Luxembourg’s leading fund service providers.
“Ancorius combines a strong local heritage with international ambition,” said Guy Pauwels. “I’m thrilled to contribute to building a scalable, data-driven finance function that supports the Group’s next phase of sustainable growth.”
Franck Martin, Head of Corporate Development
Appointed as Head of Corporate Development, Franck Martin leads Ancorius’ M&A initiatives, post-merger integration, and strategic projects. He brings over a decade of experience in corporate finance, M&A advisory, and financial due diligence.
Prior to joining Ancorius, Franck spent more than four years as a Corporate Finance Senior Manager with a global fund administrator focusing on the group’s M&A and value-creation initiatives, and six years with a Big Four audit and advisory firm, advising multinational corporations, institutional investors, and private equity firms on complex transactions.
“Joining Ancorius at such a pivotal moment is a unique professional opportunity,” said Franck Martin. “The company’s evolution and long-term vision resonate with my experience in building and integrating businesses. I look forward to helping shape the Group’s growth strategy.”
